These days it is almost impossible to find a Catholic church that actually looks like a Catholic church once you step inside. I think you know what I mean…
- statues of the saints missing
- altar replaced with table and some are modified with wheels for ‘convenience’
- strange abstract ‘art’ supposedly representing some theological teaching found only in today’s modernist workshops
- no red lamp to be seen
- and finally the tabernacle moved off to the side or in many cases completely hidden.
This of course we know happened due to the liberal “liturgical alterations” that were supposedly to reflect Vatican II’s judgements. Which, due to the ambiguous language of the documents of Vatican II, these horrifying modernists changes and were able to “justify” these satanic renderings by quoting these documents. We understand the nature of councils in the Catholic Church are to occur due to either a clarification of the faith or correction thereof however what most professing Catholics do not understand about Vatican II is that it was NOT a Dogmatic Council as it was a council on Pastoral teachings ON Dogmatic/Doctrinal teachings of the Church and the “changes” that were made to our parishes IS NOT substantiated by the Apostolic faith. These modernist liturgical re-constructionists don’t even listen to very instructions of these documents! For example, the Vatican II document which addresses this issue is “Sacrosanctum Concilium” (The Dogmatic Constitution on the Sacred Liturgy). Issued December 4th 1963, it emphasizes the nobility of the tabernacle in determining its place in a church.
128. Along with the revision of the liturgical books, as laid down in Art. 25, there is to be an early revision of the canons and ecclesiastical statutes which govern the provision of material things involved in sacred worship. These laws refer especially to the worthy and well planned construction of sacred buildings, the shape and construction of altars, the nobility, placing, and safety of the Eucharistic tabernacle, the dignity and suitability of the baptistery, the proper ordering of sacred images, embellishments, and vestments. Laws which seem less suited to the reformed liturgy are to be brought into harmony with it, or else abolished; and any which are helpful are to be retained if already in use, or introduced where they are lacking.
According to the norm of Art. 22 of this Constitution, the territorial bodies of bishops are empowered to adapt such things to the needs and customs of their different regions; this applies especially to the materials and form of sacred furnishings and vestments.
And the Catechism of the Catholic Church (which largely reflects pastoral teachings rather than dogmatic ones) gives direction on the proper location of a tabernacle in a Catholic church,
1183 The tabernacle is to be situated “in churches in a most worthy place with the greatest honor.” The dignity, placing, and security of the Eucharistic tabernacle should foster adoration before the Lord really present in the Blessed Sacrament of the altar.
This all sounds nice and well but walk into a Novus Ordo church today and tell me the tabernacle is “in a place with the greatest honor”?
Or how about altering holy scripture? It was found today, Palm Sunday of all days, that when the Gospel was read, by the priest, a deacon, and a woman in the choir (who read in response for St. Peter) that the translation of the Gospel was not actually a Catholic translation! It was passage in the Gospel where Jesus was speaking to St. Peter to reveal to him that Satan wanted to sift through him like wheat however the translation read during mass was,
“Simon, Simon, Satan has asked to sift all of you as wheat” – Luke 22:31 New International Version
This translation is in error as Christ was primarily speaking to Peter and not to all of the Disciples. This verse, among many found in Holy Scripture, is also used to help point to the defined and binding doctrine of Papal Infallibility as Satan, even back then, understood Peter’s role as Christ’s Vicar. As Christ had already proclaimed the Church was to be built on Peter and that it would never be destroyed by the gates of Hell. This is why Satan largely desires to not so much destroy the Church (since he cannot) but rather seek to control it. My speculation is that Satan desires to completely control a pope.
But why is the scraping out of the temples of God so sinister besides what we seen and feel on the surface? What outward manifestation of evil not only parallels in these satanic temple gutting liturgical alterations apparently “for our benefit” but also the countless souls lost due to those sacrilegious disembowelment?
Know you not, that you are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? But if any man violate the temple of God, him shall God destroy. For the temple of God is holy, which you are. – 1 Corinthians 3:16-17
Before I continue, I do understand what St. Paul is saying in this passage and means specifically as the Haydock Commentary properly interprets,
Ver. 16-17. Know you not. After the apostle had described the builders who are employed in the spiritual edifice, he then proceeds to speak of the duties of those who are the living temples of Christ. As for you, may brethren, who are the temples of God, preserve yourselves in purity of faith, and innocence of morals. Fly from those false apostles who seek your ruin, and remain steadfast in that faith which you have received from us; (Calmet) that is, the one, holy, Catholic and apostolic faith. What a happiness for the faithful minister to assist in erecting and ornamenting the living temples of God; but what punishment must await the unfaithful minister, who by his own neglect and bad example, helps to ruin and destroy the temples God himself had entrusted to his care! (Haydock) — The Spirit of God dwelleth in you, having received the grace of God at your conversion: you are the holy temple of God: But if any one violate, or profane the temple of God, either by false doctrine, or by any grievous offence, he destroys the spiritual edifice, that was built in his soul upon the faith and grace of God. He cannot be said to be built any longer upon the same foundation: and therefore God will destroy such persons: they shall not be saved even by fire, or temporal punishments, but shall be excluded for ever from heaven, and condemned to eternal punishments. (Witham)
But moving on to the point, by what other name do we call the Catholic Church but none other than Holy MOTHER Church? How many lives have been lost since Roe v. Wade? How many Catholics have largely fell into apostasy due PRIMARILY because of the gutting of the very Womb of Holy Mother Church of all its sacred symbols, statues, vestments, rituals, scripture, and overall Tradition!? Why is it we are surprised that babies are being torn limb from limb in their mother’s wombs when Catholic church after church is being gutted of all things that reflect Her Dogmas, Doctrines, knowledge, dignity and sanctity!?
Have we forgotten that when the light of Catholic truth is obscured and eclipsed that the world then is cast into darkness? In the same way, if you are not taught properly what unconditional love is, how can you practice it or recognize it? Modernist infiltration and alteration to the practice of the Catholic faith is the aroma leading to death and the millions upon millions of dead babies also scraped out of their mothers is one of many of our costs in glorifying naturalistic pluralism cloaked as the Apostolic faith. And until the Church undergoes its death and resurrection like our Lord Jesus…many parishes worship in barren wombs and countless babies are murdered in their temples.
Consider this video on the horrors of abortion and reflect on the intimate connection between the sanctity of the Church and a mother’s womb
